Massive asteroid bigger than the biggest thing you can think of is going to skim by Earth

I love headlines like this.

If someone were to just read the headline, you would think that you could stand in your backyard and watch the asteroid pass by Earth. In reality it is only going to pass within 1,231,184 miles of Earth. Close yes, but it is no threat to Earth. Those quote marks are pulling a lot of weight in this headline.

If it were to impact Earth, more than likely it would just make a splash in the ocean. If it were to impact land, it would only be regionally devastating. It’s not even cool enough to get an awesome name - Asteroid 7482 (1994 PC1).
