- NFL Playoffs:
- The winners of today’s games will determine who will play in the Super Bowl on February 13th.
- The AFC Championship Game will feature the Cincinnati Bengals at the Kansas City Chiefs on CBS at 3:00p.
- The NFC Championship Game will feature the San Francisco 49ers at the Los Angeles Rams on Fox at 6:30p.
- SpaceX Falcon 9 Block 5 CSG-2 Mission. Launch scheduled for 6:11p from Space Launch Complex 40 Cape Canaveral, FL, USA. CSG-2 is an Earth observation satellite for the Italian Space Agency, part of a reconnaissance constellation using synthetic aperture radars operating in the X-band.
Monday, Jan 31
- NBC will air an hour-long special, Celebrating Betty White: America’s Golden Girl at 10p.
- SpaceX Falcon 9 Block 5 Starlink Group 4-7 Mission. Launch scheduled for 2:17p from Launch Complex 39A Kennedy Space Center, FL, USA. A batch of 49 satellites for Starlink mega-constellation - SpaceX’s project for space-based Internet communication system.
Tuesday, Feb 1
- The Chinese New Year 2022 begins.
Wednesday, Feb 2
- Groundhog Day.
- Series premiere of the controversial story of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s relationship released on Hulu.
- SpaceX Falcon 9 Block 5 NROL-87 Mission. Launch scheduled for 3:18p from Space Launch Complex 4E Vandenberg SFB, CA, USA. Classified payload for the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office.
Thursday, Feb 3
- iHeart Radio Podcast Awards streamed onYouTube at 9p.
- In this new Netflix series, Murderville, celebrities try their hand at improv comedy. It looks really interesting to me because everyone has a script except for the celebrities.
Friday, Feb 4
- 2022 Winter Olympics:
- The Olympics begin and run through Sunday, February 20 in Beijing, China.
- The competition begins with early rounds of curling on Wednesday, February 2, which is my favorite winter sport to watch. So it’s interesting to me. Hopefully, interesting for you as well.
- China will be 13 hours ahead of the Eastern Time Zone and 16 hours ahead of the Pacific Time Zone.

- Nearly 3,000 athletes from roughly 95 countries are expected to compete in the 2022 Games which will feature a total of 109 medal events across 15 sports.
- At 6:30a, NBC will have a first-ever live morning presentation of a Winter Games Opening Ceremony.
- NBC will have a special edition of the Today show featuring reactions to the Opening Ceremony and athlete interviews at 9:00a.
- NBC Primetime coverage will be Monday – Friday at 8:00p and Sunday at 7:00p.
- Peacock will offer live stream coverage of every event of the Beijing Winter Games.
- After an 11 year hiatus, the Jackass crew led by Johnny Knoxville are back in Jackass Forever - only in theaters.
- Moonfall, a sci-fi space movie about a mysterious force knocking the Moon from its orbit is released in theaters.
- If you are more in the mood for a horror flick - The Long Night is also released in theaters.
- The Amazon Video adaptation of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher crime novels, Reacher, adapted to an eight-episode series starring a tall, muscular white male - just like the book intended.
- Over on Apple TV+, Suspicion, the thriller series starring Uma Thurman debuts.
- Korn releases their 14th studio album, Requiem.
Saturday, Feb 5
- The NHL All-Star Game starts at 3p on ESPN
