Massive asteroid bigger than the biggest thing you can think of is going to skim by Earth

I love headlines like this. If someone were to just read the headline, you would think that you could stand in your backyard and watch the asteroid pass by Earth. In reality it is only going to pass within 1,231,184 miles of Earth. Close yes, but it is no threat to Earth. Those quote marks are pulling a lot of weight in this headline. Astronomers captured asteroid (7482) 1994 PC1 during a flyby of Earth in 1997.

Always look for the people doing good

I came across this story and was intrigued by how helpful people can be at any time. During the interstate lockdown in Virginia, a truck driver fixed for a neighboring vehicle. I never would have thought that a truck driver would have a microwave in his truck and then to share food with others is awesome. Full Story

Eye Twitching

I found this NY Times article about eye twitching to be very informational. My eye twitches occasionally, but I just figure it is because I am looking at a screen ten hours a day. I also am drinking caffeinated drinks all day and that might be the cause of it as well. The best part of the article is when explaining as for why it happens: “Nobody knows exactly why,” said Dr.

Burberry commercial

This commercial for Burberry is so odd and somehow riveting. When I think of having the superhuman ability to fly, I have always had this in mind more so than the way Superman does. This feels so organic, like the wind is actually carrying the people like they are weightless. Anyways, fantastic editing and production to make this feel so real. youtube.com/watch

Merck seeks FDA emergency use authorization for antiviral pill treatment

If authorization is granted, the drug, made by Merck and Ridgeback Biotherapeutics, would be the first oral antiviral treatment to fight Covid-19. It comes in capsule form. This pill looks extremely promising in treating disease of Covid-19. So well, in fact, that the study was stopped because it was preventing deaths and serious illness. To me, this would be second best to the vaccine as a promising treatment for disease, not infection.
