I found this NY Times article about eye twitching to be very informational. My eye twitches occasionally, but I just figure it is because I am looking at a screen ten hours a day.
I also am drinking caffeinated drinks all day and that might be the cause of it as well.
The best part of the article is when explaining as for why it happens: “Nobody knows exactly why,” said Dr.
I discovered an amazing Twitter account that documents McDonald’s that aren’t the cookie cutter type business. From weird statues to fancy arches, this account is a great follow!

This commercial for Burberry is so odd and somehow riveting. When I think of having the superhuman ability to fly, I have always had this in mind more so than the way Superman does. This feels so organic, like the wind is actually carrying the people like they are weightless. Anyways, fantastic editing and production to make this feel so real.

> Many people around the world learn to count on their fingers, but we don’t all do it in the same way. Could there be a better method?
I was turned onto this article by Kottke, and it is a very fascinating read. I had no idea that people had regional ways of counting on their hands.

If authorization is granted, the drug, made by Merck and Ridgeback Biotherapeutics, would be the first oral antiviral treatment to fight Covid-19. It comes in capsule form. This pill looks extremely promising in treating disease of Covid-19. So well, in fact, that the study was stopped because it was preventing deaths and serious illness. To me, this would be second best to the vaccine as a promising treatment for disease, not infection.

Obesity and Sex-Related Associations With Differential Effects of Sucralose vs Sucrose on Appetite and Reward Processing
This seems to be a fascinating study that shows diet drinks may not be as healthy as we once thought. People with obesity and females were most susceptible.
Both groups […] ate more food after they consumed drinks with sucralose compared to regular sugar-sweetened drinks.
Drinking a diet drink tricks the body into thinking it is getting sugar.

This is a very quick glimpse of some actual footage of the Game of Thrones spin-off, House Of The Dragon. The new series is set around 200 years before the hit series and follows many Targaryen family members. The show is set to release some time in 2022 on HBO Max.
This headline really caught my attention because my kids have an Xbox and a few Nintendo Switch devices. They definitely play more on their iPads then they do on any of the console devices.
I also only play casual games on my iPhone and iPad and these are the only games that I spend money on. I do not have time to sit down at a console, get it setup, and play for an extended uninterrupted time.

Gerald Herbert/Associated Press I enjoy learning about the Earth that we live on. The New York Times released an article discussing how Hurricane Ida powered up and why it became such a powerhouse of a hurricane.
> “Ida found the perfect path across the gulf, where the warmest water is,” [Chris Slocum, a NOAA researcher] said, and that provided plenty of energy for the storm to extract. “You could say it’s a worst-case scenario.
iPhone with OhSnap Grip My Love for OhSnap! I started my iPhone journey with an OhSnap Grip that I brought over from my Pixel 4. I absolutely love the grip. It gives the convenience of a Pop-Socket without the bulk. I cannot remember where I heard about the OhSnap! Kickstarter, but I was sold as soon as I saw it. I had been a PopSocket user, but hated the constant bulk.
